Singapore's air reached the Unhealthy range in late September. Windows up does not mean clean air: your car still draws outside air into the cabin, through the aircon and the cabin filter. Now is a good time to check both.

A re-gas is not a service.
A re-gas only adds refrigerant. The air turns cold for a few weeks, then drifts back to lukewarm because nothing in the system was fixed. Proper car aircon servicing cleans and checks the whole system before it is refilled, so the cold lasts.

Every Haze Out Servicing job runs through a professional aircon machine, in this order.
- Step 1
Recover
Old refrigerant is drawn out cleanly by the machine, not released into the air.
- Step 2
Flush
Contaminated compressor oil and impurities are flushed out of the system.
- Step 3
Vacuum-test
The system is held under vacuum and checked for leaks before anything goes back in.
- Step 4
Refill
Fresh oil and refrigerant go back in, measured by machine to the correct amount.
